Visitors can immerse themselves in
hands-on exhibits
Two reimagined exhibition floors excite and inspire visitors, with eight world-class new interactive zones packed with over 250 hands-on exhibits and experiences delivered in partnership with Aivaf Ltd.
We were brought on board to bring theatre and theming to the displays, alongside cutting-edge ideas for interactives and audio-visual moments.
Our design incorporates fun STEM learning with real tasks and scenarios, enabling visitors to discover a problem, then design and experiment how to overcome it.
Interactives include a giant Marvellous Machine, featuring mechanical interactivity that explores ancient mechanics such as the Archimedes’ screw, cogs, springs, and levers.
In the Energise zone families can work together to power the city as they discover more about what energy is and how it is created.
W5 Science Centre includes
new interactive zones
Visitors can build, test and race their own car in the Move It zone, which demonstrates physics theories such as drag, thrust, aerodynamics, speed, gears, materials and grip.
Other exhibits include a stunning space styled as a landscape, with a cut-out tree that cycles through the seasons and showcases the changes these bring to wildlife and weather, and a projected seafloor interactive.
